Dawn Eyre
Biography

Dawn Eyre is the owner of SEGUES, LLC.

In 2004, she purchased the then five-year old company (that her mother worked for) because it was a great fit with her educational background, work experience and entrepreneurial spirit. 

Dawn graduated from Edgewood College in 1991 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Business. While in college she and her sister, Lori Chapman – SEGUES Madison-Area Manager, founded and ran a successful cleaning service that helped fund their education. 

After graduating, Dawn took a job with Chrysalis, a non-profit organization that created and supported work opportunities for individuals with mental illness. During her five years there, she ran a sheltered workshop and provided coaching and development services to clients.  

Dawn then moved on to REM, Inc, a community-based service that assisted individuals with developmental disabilities. Among her many duties were helping developmentally challenged clients explore, enjoy and engage in the community. 

After this, Dawn managed a Section 42 senior housing facility with Meridian, Inc. She was responsible for leasing the 90 apartments, supervising the maintenance of the facilities, and developing and executing interesting programs and events for the residents. 

Because of her husband’s promotion, Dawn relocated to Milwaukee in 1997. She then became a case worker with CNR Health (APS Healthcare) under the state’s W-2 Program.  Over the next three years in this capacity, she worked with and helped Welfare clients who were suffering from drug addictions, mental illness, health problems and/or domestic violence. Afterwards she took an Account Executive position with this same company at their corporate office. Among her duties were handling the sales, marketing and account service responsibilities for this managed care company. 

When Dawn learned that SEGUES' founder wanted to sell her business, her entrepreneurial spirit was rekindled. She bought the company and expanded operations. SEGUES now has two offices (Madison & Milwaukee) that primarily serve clients in Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. 

She thoroughly enjoys helping Seniors make smooth moves and easy transitions and go from feeling “overwhelmed” to “overjoyed” as they downsize, move and settle in to their new living situation. 

Dawn is married and has three children.
